    I have tried with all the above setting , but still the issue prevails “GPS location not found” in pokemon go app .
    I have upgraded MIUI to 8.6 , but still the issue is not solved.

      1. although I already done with your steps but it is still telling that “Searching for GPS” but mobile data only run out for 0.1K/s . My country allowed to play since yesterday and my Xiaomi Mi Note 3.

  7. I have a mi4 and the gps in it doesn’t work at all. It keeps showing me in a very different place every time. I have enabled high accuracy and also have given permission. Still it doesn’t work.

The game does not work on rn2 I’ve tried everything many tutorials doing this doing that and always give de GPS error ‘GPS signal not found’ and the GPS works perfectly outside the game and my friends with same device has the same problem so it’s some kind of incompatibility with the version 0.31. Of the game with our redmi note 2.

    Same trouble for me, the GPS can’t locate me on Mi4C (miui 7-6.1.21-beta => I update the rom now)
    I try all, but I can’t accès to the permission of service google play (Permissions Settings) to see if the gps is right (you don’t talk about this tips – and google map and waze are ok)
    so sad… 🙁

  14. I have a Xiaomi redmi 3 pro. I’m level 17 in pokemon go and everything was fine until the update of pokemon on 31.07.2016.
    I live in germany. I start the app and I am notified. Then a red banner appears on the top “GPS-Signal not found”. The map doesn’t appear, so my avatar stands in the middel of nowhere.. I can use every botton in the app, the pokedex/items/dairy… i can chance the clothes of my avatar and the compass in the right upper corner is turning around when I am turning myself.

    I already tried every tipp I red. My GPS is working in google maps! mock location is off, I have High accuracy for Gps settings choosen..my phone was even rooted. Nothing worked.

    I notified my account on an other phone and everything worked (I could play pokemon go).

    I hope so much that anyone can help me.

      Make sure you always flash a ROM from MIUI official website.

    I have Xiaomi Redmi 3 and now can’t use Pokemon Go with new update 0.37. “The device, OS, or software is not compatible with Pokemon GO” – says it and goddamn I don’t know what to do. I don’t have root or something like it. So have can I play now?
