      Yes, this is is suitable for Redmi 2 Prime 2014817 and 2014813. But as you know this is alpha ROM. So might be some bugs there.

  8. R u sure redmi 2 prime fastboot file is correct?? Did u tested?? Bcoz i think this file for mi 2 not redmi 2….so conform it..i will flash with fastboot…

      These ROM are China Developer ROMs. You can set your base language English, But Google services don’t come with China ROM. So you manually install playstore and all google necessary apps.

      There is no bug in these ROMs. But now MIUI 8 in Developer mode. So we strongly recommended to you if you not friendly with flashing ROMs and rooting phones then, Please wait for MIUI 8 stable release.
      Soon MIUI 8 Stable released by Xiaomi MIUI Team.

      Thanks for writing here.
      This is China Developer ROM, So you can’t use Google services by default. In order to use google services then follow below steps:
      Download Google Installer.
      – Open the app.
      – Uninstall playstore
      – Re-install playstore from Google Installer, if you see a message about google service framework requirement, choose ‘OK’- Download all (Google service framework, Google Account Manager, and the last is Playstore).
      ………. …………… …………….. …….
      If you want to downgrade MIUI 8 to MIUI 7 then Follow below steps:
      1.Download the MIUI 7 ROM in your mobile
      2. Rename the ROM like update.zip
      3.Transfer the ROM to your phone’s root directory
      4.Reboot into recovery mode
      5.Install the ROM
      6. You are done,. Wipe cache memory also.

  24. Tks I aready download and instal MiUI 8.6.6.16 for my xiaomi redmi 1s,.then update OTA 6.6.23 BETA. I am glad even still in Kitkat ;P
    But Google Play Store not worked now, so it is need I install again Gaaps ?

      Thanks for writing here. As you know this is China developer ROM, So google services not included by default. You can install all google services including playstore via Google installer.

  28. i hv redmi note 3 first i use miuu 7.3.2.0. Battery go drain fast now i use 7.3.7.0. Battery not also work well hv same problem as earlier and now heating issue is also created plz tell how my problm solved

    bug: while using bluetooth headset, sound quality on other side is very poor while in call. i.e. user on other side is unable to hear my voice clearly…. while with miui 7 it was fine

  33. I have updated my redmi 2 prime with global beta Rom , so will i get the Ota updates of stable Rom of miui 8 when available , from its updater app or I’ll have to download the Rom manually ,
    It’s my first tym so plz explain me , didn’t liked the beta Rom , it provides update in every 1-2 weeks .
    And is the stable Rom known as that Rom which actually comes when we purchase the phone.

      Thanks for writing here. If you are using developer ROM then you don’t receive stable OTA update. If you want to MIUI 8 stable then please download the MIUI 8 Stable ROM and flash in your Phone.

      If you are not friendly with ROM flashing then please always Flash Stable ROM.
      Soon you receive MIUI 8 stable OTA in your both devices.

How to enable documents app in miui 8 redmi note 4g, after update I can’t able to save file from mail, and wps office is also showing , document app disabled turn on, but the option in installed app ->documents shows disabled and when I open there shows only force stop button and disable button is hidden how to make it done.
